ZIMETAL is set on a tract of land measuring over 190,000 square meters in size. It is equipped with large yards and roofed-over areas devoted to materials storage and secondary processes.If necessary, treated goods can be stored in our storage facility for long periods of time.

Our installations use cutting-edge technologies and advanced treatment techniques that ensure compliance with all international product regulations and specifications.

Our suitably-trained technical staff are able to offer highly professional and efficient service, from the design stage of the fabricated articles to be galvanized through the final inspection of the finished product.

During the last twenty years the use of powder coating has become widespread, due to its better technical characteristics and to its smaller environmental footprint; during the same period, a new material treatment technology that improves the adhesion and resistance of the coating on the galvanised iron through the use of nanotechnologies has been developed.

The VERNIX® SYSTEM, developed for Zimetal in the new 12,000 sq m coating plant, increases the performance of the whole anti-corrosion package, by directly introducing into the production line a further element which provides better protection than the traditional powder coating systems. This allows us to achieve a perfect technical blend between the different operating stages, that results in a powder coating with superior characteristics.
